The awareness of the individual sounds (phonemes) within words is crucial for reading success.  The most impactful skills within the Phonological Awareness umbrella are the abilities to blend and segment phonemes.  If your students need extra practice beyond your instructional time, the following games may help.  These can be played independently as homework or in centers.  More games with higher complexity will be added soon.
